All Nighter by Urban Decay- The Setting Spray
My Grandmother would always refer to putting her make up on… “as putting her face on”.
We all know how you put your face on, then leave for a day out only to find your face vanishing into the abyss or melting off like the Wicked Witch of the East? Them days are over ladies… skip, jump or dance your way over to your local Sephora and load up on this STAT.
1.What makes this amazing?
My girlfriend moved to Austin a few years back and one of the first things she learned quickly about TEXAS was the heat. She would call me and tell me GIRL … “you can’t wear make up here!” Then one day she called me and said SAMANTHA… “ I have found something you need to know about.” A woman in her neighborhood introduced her to this gem and a week later I had one in my mailbox. ONE Spray and everything stays PUT all day.
2. Why do I love this so much?
I was never totally sold on setting sprays… I didn’t get it. They made my face feel stiff or dry. Or I would spray them on and start to cry with all the fumes. Mostly, I just felt it was another catchy product fad…but OH NO... not this one! It has a really light feeling; you can’t even notice it is on when it dries, and it WORKS. Gone are the days of not wearing any makeup in hot or humid climates or losing your fab look midday due to your make up wearing off. Set and forget, one spray and you are guaranteed success all day.
3. How much does it cost?
$33
4. Where can I get it?
All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray - Urban Decay | Sephora
5. Tell us about the Founder!
Urban Decay is a pretty known brand in the make-up world. What you may not know is that it was started in a woman’s home and had 3 female founders. Wende Zomnir was a woman on a mission always into edgy make-up. She had no prior makeup experience but knew what she liked and knew she could get others to like it too. For her make-up was a way to tell people who you were. Wende would blend colors in her home and go to festivals and try to get women to buy her make up. One taker was Gwen Stefani, and the rest is history. Urban Decay was purchased but L'Oréal in 2012 for an estimated $300-400M. Wende and her co - founders are a true story of how a girl with a dream can make things happen!
