Brightland- The Olive Oil

I live for olive oil, or as my daughter’s girlfriend calls it “Italy Oil…” I cook with it, I use it on my salads, pasta, over veggies and on my hands when they get dry.

Why do I love this so much?

Good olive oil is something I find myself quite picky about. Yes, we all go to Costco and buy the jugs for the everyday needs, however certain dishes call for the good stuff! Brightland popped up in my feed one night and I bought it. Once the box arrived, I found myself going back online and buying more. THIS is good stuff. Made in California and sourced from only best olives. As founder Aishwarya found when developing her product line not all olives are the same… who knew? I really like the duo pictured here paired with a red wine vinegar is the perfect, YES PLEASE to any salad.

Tell us about the Founder.

Aishwarya is a woman making it happen. Her ancestry of Salt farmers in India has led her to a path having a great respect in the land + what we can grow from it. Spending a few years (10) in technology space, Aishwarya decided she was going to bring her to life- Brightland was born. In her first few weeks she sold out completely and had a wait list of 1,000 bottles! Talk about a great idea. Now, you can find her online or at retailers from coast to coast. I really like how the lack of clarity in the olive oil marketplace made the wheels start spinning for Aishwarya. Thinking about how she could fill the gap in the space with a product you can get behind. Natural. Clean and Pure.
