Matilda's Bloombox
Something about flowers really just lights up the room. They are feminine and just make you smile when you see them. As a young woman starting off in my career I remember having just enough money to buy the things I needed. I would go to the market and each week always would find myself bringing home some bouquet of flowers because they just made me feel good… not always on budget, but damn they felt good. They made me smile. Fast forward 20 years and I met this wonder woman EMILY at a tradeshow where I was scouting vendors for my Night to Sparkle event. I walked right up to her and said, “Hi I am Sam” and here is what I am doing. She responded with, “Hi I am Emily and here is what I am doing…”, I signed up and 3 years later I am hooked, and we became buddies and each week I smile because of her.

To start it comes to you. You get to build your own floral masterpiece with locally sourced flowers. The arrangements are vibrant in color, can be big or small you choose and they last much longer than a week. On your doorstep once a week.
2. Why do I love this so much?
It is different each week. The flowers are unique and each arrangement is carefully thought out. Holidays, seasons etc. You can stop and start as you go on vacation or need a break. Each week when I get the knock at the door, I am so excited to see what is there. I know she pours her heart into each arrangement, and that makes me smile.

Matilda’s Bloombox is named after her daughter Matilda. Each week Emily goes and sources the flowers, shoots videos of how to put them together and creates wonderful inserts talking about each flower and why they are in the box for the week. Not only is she a badass, has the best dresses, but she is the sweetest thing and has the best laugh!
